The Ansett Flight Simulator Centre (AFSC) was established in 1975, primarily to service the needs of its parent airline, Ansett Airlines of Australia. Operations were then expanded to service external customers.
Although Ansett Australia ceased to operate as an airline, the centre is operated by Ansett Australia Limited (Subject to Deed of Company Arrangement) on a 7 day / 24 hour basis.
